It helps me at the beginning of a project to have an idea of the kind of 'visual vibe' that I want to be going for, I find the most helpful way of doing this is to create a Pinterest board. This board then becomes a hub for both visual inspiration, and also a place to quickly save things so I can then come back to them and research into them more throughly.
