I think this is probably the saddest scene in my animation. I feel that it really shows how the widow and the ghosts relationship was, and still is. This is the only scene that contains characters that is a fully animated GIF, nothing is animated separately and layered on top, all of the moving parts exist on the same frames. This was not really a conscious decision, once I got into the flow of animating this scene it just worked best to do it this way. I think that it helped that this was one of the last full scenes that I animated so by this point I was very comfortable drawing these characters, and I wonder if I had animated this scene earlier it would not have worked together so well.
