As I already knew that I wanted this piece to be an animation I started my initial sketching with this in mind, picking out aspects of the poem that could become key scenes within the animation, and reflecting on the atmosphere that I would want the overall piece to have, wanting to keep the more comforting feeling of the poem rather than the fear traditionally associated with hauntings.
